IAFD

On iafd.com the person, not the stage name, is the unit of record: performer pages carry an AKA list that folds aliases and spelling variants into one entry, plus birthdate and full credits.

What IAFD offers

That structure defines the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD), a searchable index of roughly 230,000 performers whose profiles link to more than 860,000 movie titles and the studios, directors, and distributors behind them.

Because credits attach at the person level, the index stays correctable: a Submit Corrections button on any cast member's page funnels additions into a review process, and fresh entries surface through the project blog. Performer-focused lookups sit alongside: advanced search, a random-performer link, and a birthday calendar for any date, feedable by RSS. The database began as Peter van Aarle's index-card file of adult-film credits in the early 1980s and reached the web in 1995; volunteers have sustained it since his death in 2005.

A homepage search box takes performer names or movie titles, and a paired query returns every title two chosen performers share. Following a name then moves outward: aliases collapse into one biography, filmography entries open title and studio records, and recurring co-stars surface as a working network. That movement between people, dates, and productions is what makes IAFD useful for settling who-performed-where questions and for tracing a career from first credit to latest.
