Adult Film Database at a glance
Each star's profile page acts as a running dossier, gathering stage names and aliases, biographical notes, and a filmography of credited DVD and VOD appearances, plus labeled stills and photo galleries drawn from productions the performer appears in. The project aims for comprehensive coverage of adult performers and their film work, functioning less like a video site and more like a searchable credits ledger.
Browsing the catalog
A name search is the natural starting point, and an advanced search can filter results by performer, director, studio, or video category. Studio, genre, and year tags then show how one actor's credits cut across a single label's catalog or an entire genre. Where credit lists have gaps, the database says so openly and invites knowledgeable visitors to submit the missing titles, so the record keeps improving through user corrections instead of paid staff.
Where the service fits
That performer-first organization makes AFD most valuable to people who approach adult entertainment as a body of careers worth indexing: reviewers and researchers verifying an on-screen appearance, fans checking a stage-name alias or tracing an actress's timeline, and anyone curious which performers a particular studio kept working through the years.
